DX Kids: March Break Camp

Design by Numbers (Ages 6-10)   Designing a bridge? Fashioning a new tunic? Inventing a new chair? This STEAM camp introduces how math is an integral part of traditional design disciplines – from industrial and fashion design, to architecture and graphic design, and so much more. There is math and design in everything around us. Join us to explore practical, interactive, and fun mathematical discoveries in the world of design!

Future of Fashion (Ages 10-14)   Convertible, universal, and tech-savvy, young designers will design, build, and wire a multi-functional backpack. Learn about coding and pattern from industry experts, turn a modelling error into an ornament like designer Noa Raviv, and use connective thread to create an LED design!
*This camp requires a base knowledge of sewing machine operation
